“We thought people would be interested in knowing the history of the place where they vacation or where they grew up or where they’ve moved to,” she added. “Plus I don’t think people realize what great restaurants we have. There’s more variety down here than ever before.”
On Tuesday, 14 people from Charlotte, Thomasville and Kure Beach trekked through [Carolina Beach] in the hot afternoon sun while nibbling on tapas, chowder, wrap sandwiches, fish tacos and fudge of all kinds.
