Wednesday Turtle Talk at the Carolina Beach State Park

Join the Pleasure Island Sea Turtle Program every Wednesday evening to learn about the loggerhead sea turtle. This event is FREE and open to the public.

Turtle Talks will be held every Wednesday evening at 7PM at the Carolina Beach State Park Auditorium (1010 State Park Rd, off of Dow Rd in Carolina Beach) from June 8 though August 24.

As of today, there are two sea turtle nests in Carolina Beach and the first nest site for Kure Beach was just spotted yesterday. So as the 2011 nesting season excitement builds, you'll most surely want to bring a friend or family member to share in the fun.
