If you recall from last June, we posted a UFO account that had been filed with MUFON (Mutual UFO Network) about a UFO sighting at Wrightsville Beach. In short, a group of nine people at a house near the Carolina Yacht Club in WB reported seeing a an erratically moving reddish orange light that eventually split into nine separate orbs and subsequently disappeared. Shortly afterwards, they reported seeing military helicopters and fighter jets in the area.
Well fast forward to this month, and a new witness to the same sighting has stepped forward and filed a report with MUFON. This witness reports that they were running on the beach near a Wrightsville Beach pier (doesn't specify which one) when they spotted a "triangler object rise out of the ocean maybe 150-200 feet away from my spot on the beach." The individual states that it was a solid object and that it hovered about 50 feet above the water for approximately 10 to 15 seconds. The object then "shot off horizontally, then upwards from a dead-stand-still to incredible speeds with no sounds or engine thrust."
A short period time later, the lights returned for a brief period and then disappeared. The reporting person states that within 10 minutes, fighter jets arrived in the area and he/she could hear at least one helicopter.
The reporting person ends the report by stating "I know you have no reason to believe this almost a year later, but this is what I saw. I will never forget that night, and it was a very scary experience..."
