Sanuk's Hot Wax Challenge October 9th & 10th at the Carolina Beach Hamlet Street Beach Access

It will be a busy weekend on the Island. First we have the 17th Annual Seafoood, Blues and Jazz Festival which will be held Sat & Sun at the Fort Fisher Military Recreation Area. This is a guaranteed good time and opens around 12 noon (first musical performance at 12:30pm). But before heading out there, make sure to check out the Sanuk's Hot Wax Challenge on Saturday and Sunday beginning at 8:00am. The surf challenge will be taking place at the Hamlet Ave beach access which is next to the Courtyard Marriott. Here are some photos from last years competition.
