Is Summer Really Over?

Say it ain't so!

OK, I will.

Now is one of my favorite times on the island. The summer tourists have left and the island returns to a quieter and slower pace. The air temps are still plenty warm and one can easily swim through the month of October as the water temps are slow to drop.

So don't worry, ole man winter is still a ways off. But you do have to admit, those couple of junior snow events that we had last year were pretty cool.
